El Señor, refugio y defensa

11 En el Señor me refugio(A);
¿cómo decís a mi alma: Huye cual ave al[a] monte(B)?
2 Porque, he aquí, los impíos tensan el arco(C),
preparan su saeta sobre la cuerda(D)
para flechar en lo oscuro a los rectos de corazón(E).
3 Si los fundamentos son destruidos(F);
¿qué puede hacer el justo?
4 El Señor está en su santo templo(G), el trono del Señor[b] está en los cielos(H);
sus ojos contemplan(I), sus párpados examinan a los hijos de los hombres.
5 El Señor prueba al justo(J) y al impío,
y su alma aborrece al que ama la violencia(K).
6 Sobre los impíos hará llover carbones encendidos[c](L);
fuego, azufre(M) y viento abrasador(N) será la porción de su copa(O).
7 Pues el Señor es justo(P); Él ama la justicia[d](Q);
los rectos contemplarán su rostro(R).

11 Tôi nhờ cậy Thượng Đế bảo vệ.
Vậy sao ngươi hỏi ta rằng,
“Hãy bay lên núi như chim đi.”
2 Kẻ ác giương cung như thợ săn;
Gài sẵn tên vào dây cung.
Từ trong bóng tối, chúng núp bắn người lương thiện.
3 Nếu nền móng bị sụp đổ [a],
thì người công chính sẽ làm sao?
4 CHÚA ngự trong đền thánh Ngài;
Ngài ngự trên ngôi trời,
Thấy hết hành động mỗi người;
Mắt Ngài quan sát từng người.
5 CHÚA thử nghiệm người thiện và kẻ ác,
Ngài ghét kẻ mưu hại người khác.
6 Nguyện Ngài xối than lửa đỏ với diêm sinh cháy bừng lên đầu kẻ ác.
Nguyện chúng nhận lấy bão lốc.
7 CHÚA luôn công chính, Ngài chuộng công lý;
nên những người ngay thẳng sẽ được thấy mặt Ngài.

For the director of music. Of David.
1 In the Lord I take refuge.(A)
How then can you say to me:
“Flee(B) like a bird to your mountain.(C)
2 For look, the wicked bend their bows;(D)
they set their arrows(E) against the strings
to shoot from the shadows(F)
at the upright in heart.(G)
3 When the foundations(H) are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”
4 The Lord is in his holy temple;(I)
the Lord is on his heavenly throne.(J)
He observes everyone on earth;(K)
his eyes examine(L) them.
5 The Lord examines the righteous,(M)
but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion.(N)
6 On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;(O)
a scorching wind(P) will be their lot.
