El justo y los pecadores
1 Bienaventurado el varón que no anduvo en consejo de malos,
Ni estuvo en camino de pecadores,
Ni en silla de escarnecedores se ha sentado;
2 Sino que en la ley de Jehová está su delicia,
Y en su ley medita de día y de noche.
3 Será como árbol plantado junto a corrientes de aguas,(A)
Que da su fruto en su tiempo,
Y su hoja no cae;
Y todo lo que hace, prosperará.
4 No así los malos,
Que son como el tamo que arrebata el viento.
5 Por tanto, no se levantarán los malos en el juicio,
Ni los pecadores en la congregación de los justos.
6 Porque Jehová conoce el camino de los justos;
Mas la senda de los malos perecerá.

Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor stands in the path of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth its fruit in its season;
its leaf will not wither,
and whatever he does will prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so,
but are like the chaff
which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the ungodly will perish.
