Panalangin sa Oras ng Panganib
3 Panginoon, kay dami kong kaaway;
kay daming kumakalaban sa akin!
2 Sinasabi nilang hindi nʼyo raw ako ililigtas.
3 Ngunit kayo ang aking kalasag.
Pinalalakas nʼyo ako at pinagtatagumpay sa aking mga kaaway.
4 Tumawag ako sa inyo Panginoon at sinagot nʼyo ako mula sa inyong banal[a] na bundok.
5 At dahil iniingatan nʼyo ako, nakakatulog ako at nagigising pa.
6 Hindi ako matatakot kahit ilang libo pang kaaway ang nakapalibot sa akin.
7 Pumarito kayo, Panginoon!
Iligtas nʼyo po ako, Dios ko,
dahil noon ay inilagay nʼyo sa kahihiyan ang lahat ng mga kaaway ko,
at inalis mo sa mga masamang tao ang kanilang kakayahang saktan ako.
8 Kayo, Panginoon, ang nagliligtas.
Kayo rin po ang nagpapala sa inyong mga mamamayan.

Le salut vient de l’Eternel
3 Psaume de David, quand il fuyait devant son fils Absalom[a].
2 O Eternel, ╵mes ennemis sont si nombreux !
Oui, si nombreux mes adversaires ╵qui se sont dressés contre moi.
3 Et si nombreux ceux qui prétendent
qu’il n’y a plus aucun secours ╵pour moi auprès de Dieu.

4 Pourtant, ô Eternel, ╵tu es pour moi un bouclier ╵qui me protège.
O toi ma gloire, ╵tu me feras marcher encore ╵la tête haute.
5 A haute voix, je crie vers l’Eternel ;
de sa montagne sainte, ╵mon Dieu m’exaucera.

6 Quand je me couche, je m’endors ;
je me réveille ╵car l’Eternel est mon soutien.
7 Je ne craindrai donc pas ╵ces multitudes
qui sont postées autour de moi.
8 Eternel, lève-toi ! ╵Au secours, mon Dieu, sauve-moi !
Tu gifles tous mes ennemis :
tu casses les dents aux méchants.
9 De l’Eternel vient le salut.
O Eternel, fais reposer ╵ta bénédiction sur les tiens.

1 Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.(B)”[b]
3 But you, Lord, are a shield(C) around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.(D)
4 I call out to the Lord,(E)
and he answers me from his holy mountain.(F)
5 I lie down and sleep;(G)
I wake again,(H) because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear(I) though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.(J)

3 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
