Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Zion, ang Siyudad sa Dios
48 1-2 Gamhanan ang Ginoo nga atong Dios,
ug takos gayod nga dayegon diha sa iyang siyudad nga anaa sa iyang balaang bukid.
Matahom ang kahabog niini ug nagahatag kini ug kalipay sa tibuok kalibotan.
Kining balaan nga Bukid sa Zion mao ang siyudad sa Gamhanan nga Hari.
3 Anaa ang Dios sa lig-on nga bahin sa Jerusalem ug gipakita niya nga siya kasaligan nga tigpanalipod.
4 Nagtigom ang mga hari aron sa pagsulong sa Jerusalem,
5 apan pagkakita nila niini, nahingangha sila;
nahadlok sila ug nanagan.
6 Nangurog sila sa kahadlok daw sa babayeng nagbati.
7 Gilaglag sila sa Dios[a] sama sa mga barko sa Tarshish nga gikuso-kuso sa hangin nga gikan sa sidlakan.
8 Nadungog namo ang gipanghimo sa Dios kaniadto,
ug karon nakita na gayod namo kini sa siyudad sa among Dios, ang Ginoo nga Makagagahom.
Lig-onon niya kining siyudara hangtod sa kahangtoran.
9 O Dios, namalandong kami sa imong gugma sulod sa imong templo.
10 Bantogan ka ug gidayeg sa mga tawo sa tibuok kalibotan,[b]
tungod kay nagmadaogon ka pinaagi sa imong gahom.[c]
11 Hinaut nga maglipay ang mga lumulupyo sa Zion[d] ug ang mga lumulupyo sa ubang mga lungsod sa Juda,
tungod sa imong matarong nga paghukom.
12 Mga Israelinhon, libota ninyo ang Zion[e] ug ihapa ang mga tore niini.
13 Tan-awa ninyo pag-ayo ang mga paril ug ang lig-ong bahin niini nga siyudad,
aron masultihan ninyo ang sunod nga mga henerasyon
14 nga ingon niana ang Dios nga atong gialagaran.
Dios siya sa walay kataposan.
Siya ang magagiya kanato hangtod sa kahangtoran.

A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah.
1 Great is the Lord,(A) and most worthy of praise,(B)
in the city of our God,(C) his holy mountain.(D)
2 Beautiful(E) in its loftiness,
the joy of the whole earth,
like the heights of Zaphon[b](F) is Mount Zion,(G)
the city of the Great King.(H)
3 God is in her citadels;(I)
he has shown himself to be her fortress.(J)
4 When the kings joined forces,
when they advanced together,(K)
5 they saw her and were astounded;
they fled in terror.(L)
6 Trembling seized(M) them there,
pain like that of a woman in labor.(N)
7 You destroyed them like ships of Tarshish(O)
shattered by an east wind.(P)
8 As we have heard,
so we have seen
in the city of the Lord Almighty,
in the city of our God:
God makes her secure
forever.[c](Q)
9 Within your temple, O God,
we meditate(R) on your unfailing love.(S)
10 Like your name,(T) O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;(U)
your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11 Mount Zion rejoices,
the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments.(V)
12 Walk about Zion, go around her,
count her towers,(W)
13 consider well her ramparts,(X)
view her citadels,(Y)
that you may tell of them
to the next generation.(Z)
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide(AA) even to the end.
