Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Pag-ampo nga may Pagdayeg
27 Ang Ginoo mao ang akong kahayag, manluluwas, ug tigpanalipod,
busa wala akoy angayng kahadlokan.
2 Sa higayon nga sulongon ako sa akong daotang mga kaaway aron patyon,
madagma ug malup-og sila.
3 Bisan pa ug libotan ako sa daghang mga sundalo, dili ako mahadlok.
Bisan pa ug maggira, mosalig gihapon ako sa Dios.
4 Usa ra ka butang ang akong gipangayo sa Ginoo ug mao gayod kini ang akong gihandom pag-ayo:
nga makapuyo ako sa iyang templo sa tibuok kong kinabuhi,
ug didto makapamalandong ako sa iyang kaayo ug makapangayo sa iyang paggiya.
5 Kay sa panahon sa katalagman tagoan niya ako ug panalipdan diha sa iyang templo.
Ipahimutang niya ako sa dapit diin luwas ako sa katalagman.[a]
6 Busa magmadaogon ako batok sa akong mga kaaway nga nagalibot kanako,
ug maghalad ako sa templo sa Ginoo nga may paghugyaw sa kalipay.
Magaawit ako kaniya!
7 Pamatia ako, Ginoo, kon motawag ako kanimo;
kaloy-i ako ug tubaga ang akong pag-ampo.
8 Miingon ka nga modangop ako kanimo,
busa midangop ako kanimo, Ginoo.
9 Ayaw pagtago gikan kanako.
Ayaw ako isalikway tungod sa imong kasuko kanako, nga imong sulugoon.
Ikaw ang nagtabang kanako, busa ayaw ako pasagdi o isalikway,
O Dios nga akong manluluwas.
10 Bisan pa ug isalikway ako sa akong amahan ug inahan,
atimanon mo gihapon ako, Ginoo.
11 Tudloi ako sa imong pamaagi.
Tultoli ako sa hustong dalan, tungod kay giatangan ako sa akong mga kaaway.
12 Ayaw ako itugyan kanila,
kay gibutang-butangan nila ako sa butang nga wala ko gayod mahimo,
ug gusto nila akong daoton.
13 Apan nagatuo ako nga masinati ko ang imong kaayo samtang buhi pa ako.
14 Salig kamo sa Ginoo!
Pagpakalig-on kamo ug ayaw pagpakawala ug paglaom.
Salig lang kamo sa Ginoo!

Of David.
1 The Lord is my light(A) and my salvation(B)—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold(C) of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?(D)
2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour[a] me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.(E)
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;(F)
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.(G)
4 One thing(H) I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,(I)
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble(J)
he will keep me safe(K) in his dwelling;
he will hide me(L) in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.(M)
6 Then my head will be exalted(N)
above the enemies who surround me;(O)
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice(P) with shouts of joy;(Q)
I will sing(R) and make music(S) to the Lord.
7 Hear my voice(T) when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.(U)
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!(V)”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face(W) from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;(X)
you have been my helper.(Y)
Do not reject me or forsake(Z) me,
God my Savior.(AA)
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will receive me.
11 Teach me your way,(AB) Lord;
lead me in a straight path(AC)
because of my oppressors.(AD)
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses(AE) rise up against me,
spouting malicious accusations.
