Il Dio maestoso
93 Il Signore regna, si ammanta di splendore;
il Signore si riveste, si cinge di forza;
rende saldo il mondo, non sarà mai scosso.
2 Saldo è il tuo trono fin dal principio,
da sempre tu sei.
3 Alzano i fiumi, Signore,
alzano i fiumi la loro voce,
alzano i fiumi il loro fragore.
4 Ma più potente delle voci di grandi acque,
più potente dei flutti del mare,
potente nell'alto è il Signore.
5 Degni di fede sono i tuoi insegnamenti,
la santità si addice alla tua casa
per la durata dei giorni, Signore.

93 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.
