L’onnipotenza di Dio
29 (A)Salmo di Davide.
Date al Signore, o figli di Dio,
date al Signore gloria e forza!
2 Date al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo nome;
adorate il Signore con santa magnificenza.
3 La voce del Signore è sulle acque;
il Dio di gloria tuona;
il Signore è sulle grandi acque.
4 La voce del Signore è potente,
la voce del Signore è piena di maestà.
5 La voce del Signore rompe i cedri;
il Signore spezza i cedri del Libano.
6 Fa saltellare i monti come vitelli,
il Libano e l’Ermon come giovani bufali.
7 La voce del Signore fa guizzare i fulmini.
8 La voce del Signore fa tremare il deserto;
il Signore fa tremare il deserto di Cades.
9 La voce del Signore fa partorire le cerve e sfronda le selve.
E nel suo tempio tutto esclama: «Gloria!»
10 Il Signore sedeva sovrano sul diluvio,
anzi il Signore siede re per sempre.
11 Il Signore darà forza al suo popolo;
il Signore benedirà il suo popolo dandogli pace.

Poder y gloria de Jehová
Salmo de David.
29 Tributad a Jehová, oh hijos de los poderosos,
Dad a Jehová la gloria y el poder.
2 Dad a Jehová la gloria debida a su nombre;
Adorad a Jehová en la hermosura de la santidad.(A)
3 Voz de Jehová sobre las aguas;
Truena el Dios de gloria,
Jehová sobre las muchas aguas.
4 Voz de Jehová con potencia;
Voz de Jehová con gloria.
5 Voz de Jehová que quebranta los cedros;
Quebrantó Jehová los cedros del Líbano.
6 Los hizo saltar como becerros;
Al Líbano y al Sirión como hijos de búfalos.
7 Voz de Jehová que derrama llamas de fuego;
8 Voz de Jehová que hace temblar el desierto;
Hace temblar Jehová el desierto de Cades.
9 Voz de Jehová que desgaja las encinas,
Y desnuda los bosques;
En su templo todo proclama su gloria.
10 Jehová preside en el diluvio,
Y se sienta Jehová como rey para siempre.
11 Jehová dará poder a su pueblo;
Jehová bendecirá a su pueblo con paz.

29 (A)Ascribe to the Lord, [a]sons of the mighty,
Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory [b]due His name;
Worship the Lord (B)in holy attire.
3 The (C)voice of the Lord is on the waters;
The God of glory (D)thunders,
The Lord is over [c](E)many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is (F)powerful,
The voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
Yes, the Lord breaks (G)the cedars of Lebanon in pieces.
6 He makes Lebanon (H)skip like a calf,
And (I)Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord divides [d]flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord [e]shakes the wilderness;
The Lord shakes the wilderness of (J)Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes (K)the deer give birth
And strips the forests bare;
And (L)in His temple everything says, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sat as King at the (M)flood;
Yes, the Lord sits as (N)King forever.
11 [f]The Lord will give (O)strength to His people;
[g]The Lord will bless His people with (P)peace.
