111 Alleluia, celebrerò l'Eterno con tutto il cuore nel consiglio dei giusti e nell'assemblea.

Grandi sono le opere dell'Eterno, ricercate da tutti quelli che si dilettano in esse.

Le sue opere sono maestose e grandiose e la sua giustizia dura in eterno.

Egli fa sí che le sue meraviglie siano ricordate; l'Eterno è misericordioso e pieno di compassione.

Egli dà cibo a quelli che lo temono e si ricorderà per sempre del suo patto.

Egli ha mostrato al suo popolo la potenza delle sue opere, dandogli l'eredità delle nazioni.

Le opere delle sue mani sono verità e giustizia; tutti i suoi comandamenti sono fermi,

stabili in eterno per sempre, fatti con verità e rettitudine.

Egli ha mandato la redenzione al suo popolo, ha stabilito il suo patto per sempre; santo e tremendo è il suo nome.

10 Il timore dell'Eterno è il principio della sapienza, hanno grande sapienza quelli che mettono in pratica i suoi comandamenti; la sua lode dura in eterno.

Great Are the Lord's Works

111 [a] (A)Praise the Lord!
I (B)will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
    in the company of (C)the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the (D)works of the Lord,
    (E)studied by all who delight in them.
(F)Full of splendor and majesty is his work,
    and his (G)righteousness endures forever.
He has (H)caused his wondrous works to be remembered;
    the Lord is gracious and merciful.
He provides food for those who fear him;
    he (I)remembers his covenant forever.
He has shown his people the power of his works,
    in giving them the inheritance of the nations.
The works of his hands are faithful and just;
    all his precepts are (J)trustworthy;
they are (K)established forever and ever,
    to be performed with (L)faithfulness and uprightness.
He sent (M)redemption to his people;
    he has (N)commanded his covenant forever.
    (O)Holy and awesome is his name!
10 (P)The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
    all those who practice it have (Q)a good understanding.
    His (R)praise endures forever!

I will extol the Lord(A) with all my heart(B)

Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
