48 Ẹni ńlá ní Olúwa, tí ó sì yẹ láti máa yìn
ní ìlú Ọlọ́run wa, lórí òkè mímọ́ rẹ̀.
2 (A)Ó dára nínú ipò ìtẹ́ rẹ̀,
ayọ̀ gbogbo ayé
òkè Sioni, ní ìhà àríwá
ní ìlú ọba ńlá.
3 Ọlọ́run wà nínú ààbò ààfin rẹ̀;
ó fi ara rẹ̀ hàn láti jẹ́ odi alágbára.
4 Nígbà tí àwọn ọba kógun jọ pọ̀,
wọ́n jùmọ̀ ń kọjá lọ.
5 Wọn rí i bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ẹnu sì yà wọ́n
a yọ wọ́n lẹ́nu, wọ́n yára lọ
6 Ẹ̀rù sì bà wọ́n níbẹ̀,
ìrora gẹ́gẹ́ bí obìnrin tí ó wà nínú ìrọbí.
7 Ìwọ bà wọ́n jẹ́ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọkọ̀ orí omi Tarṣiṣi,
wọ́n fọ́nká láti ọwọ́ ìjì ìlà-oòrùn.
8 Gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ṣe gbọ́,
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwa rí,
Ní inú Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun
ní ìlú Ọlọ́run wa,
Ọlọ́run jẹ́ kí ó wà ní abẹ́ ààbò títí láéláé. Sela.
9 Láàrín tẹmpili rẹ, Ọlọ́run,
àwa ti ń sọ ti ìṣeun ìfẹ́ rẹ.
10 Gẹ́gẹ́ bí orúkọ rẹ Ọlọ́run,
ìyìn rẹ̀ dé òpin ayé,
ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ kún fún òdodo.
11 Jẹ́ kí òkè Sioni kí ó yọ̀
kí inú àwọn ọmọbìnrin Juda kí ó dùn
nítorí ìdájọ́ rẹ.
12 Rìn Sioni kiri lọ yíká rẹ̀,
ka ilé ìṣọ́ rẹ̀.
13 Kíyèsi odi rẹ̀,
kíyèsi àwọn ààfin rẹ̀
kí ẹ̀yin lè máa wí fún ìran tí ń bọ̀.
14 Nítorí Ọlọ́run yìí Ọlọ́run wà ní títí ayé,
Òun ni yóò ṣe amọ̀nà wa títí dè òpin ayé.

上帝的城——錫安
可拉後裔的詩。
48 耶和華何等偉大！
我們的上帝在祂的城中，
在祂的聖山上當大受頌讚。
2 北面的錫安山雄偉壯麗，
令世人歡喜，
是偉大君王的城。
3 上帝在城內的宮中，
祂親自做這城的庇護。
4 世上的君王一同聚集，前來攻城。
5 他們看見這城後，
大驚失色，慌忙逃跑。
6 他們被恐懼籠罩，
痛苦如分娩的婦人。
7 你毀滅他們，
如同東風摧毀他施的船隻。
8 我們曾經聽說，如今在萬軍之耶和華的城中，
在我們上帝的城中親眼看見：
上帝要堅立這城，直到永遠。（細拉）
9 上帝啊，我們在你的殿中默想你的慈愛。
10 上帝啊，你秉公行義，
你的名普世皆知，
頌讚你的聲音響徹地極。
11 因你的審判，
錫安山歡喜，
猶大的城邑充滿快樂。
12 你們要繞著錫安數點她的城樓，
13 留意她的城牆，
觀看她的殿宇，
好告訴子孫後代。
14 因為上帝永永遠遠是我們的上帝，
祂必引領我們，
直到我們離世之日。

1 Een lied voor de Korachieten.[a]
2 De Heer is machtig.
Iedereen in zijn stad op de heilige berg moet Hem prijzen.
3 De berg Sion, daar in het noorden,
is de prachtigste berg van de aarde
en de vreugde van ieder mens.
Het is de stad van de grote Koning.
4 God woont binnen de muren van die stad.
Hijzelf is als een burcht waar de mensen veilig zijn.
5 Koningen rukten samen op
om Jeruzalem aan te vallen.
6 Maar toen ze de stad zagen,
schrokken ze terug en vluchtten.
7 Ze werden plotseling
door hevige angst overvallen.
8 De vloot van de vijand uit Tarsis
werd door U vernietigd in een storm.
9 Wat we eerst alleen hadden gehoord,
zagen we nu zelf gebeuren
in de stad van de Heer van de hemelse legers,
in de stad van onze God.
Dankzij God zal die stad altijd blijven bestaan.
10 God, als we in uw tempel zijn,
denken we aan alle goede dingen die U heeft gedaan.
11 U bent over de hele aarde bekend.
U wordt over de hele aarde geprezen.
U heerst rechtvaardig.
12 De bewoners van Jeruzalem zijn blij,
de bewoners van Juda juichen,
omdat U rechtvaardig bent.
13 Loop om Jeruzalem heen,
tel alle torens.
14 Kijk naar die sterke muren,
zie eens wat een geweldige burchten!
Zeg tegen je kinderen:
15 "Kijk, zó is onze God ook,
zó sterk is onze God, voor eeuwig en altijd.
Ons leven lang zal Hij ons leiden."

1 Great is the Lord,(A) and most worthy of praise,(B)
in the city of our God,(C) his holy mountain.(D)
2 Beautiful(E) in its loftiness,
the joy of the whole earth,
like the heights of Zaphon[b](F) is Mount Zion,(G)
the city of the Great King.(H)
3 God is in her citadels;(I)
he has shown himself to be her fortress.(J)
4 When the kings joined forces,
when they advanced together,(K)
5 they saw her and were astounded;
they fled in terror.(L)
6 Trembling seized(M) them there,
pain like that of a woman in labor.(N)
7 You destroyed them like ships of Tarshish(O)
shattered by an east wind.(P)
8 As we have heard,
so we have seen
in the city of the Lord Almighty,
in the city of our God:
God makes her secure
forever.[c](Q)
9 Within your temple, O God,
we meditate(R) on your unfailing love.(S)
10 Like your name,(T) O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;(U)
your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11 Mount Zion rejoices,
the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments.(V)
12 Walk about Zion, go around her,
count her towers,(W)
13 consider well her ramparts,(X)
view her citadels,(Y)
that you may tell of them
to the next generation.(Z)
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide(AA) even to the end.
