1 (A)Ìbùkún ni fún ọkùnrin náà,
tí kò rìn ní ìmọ̀ àwọn ènìyàn búburú,
ti kò dúró ní ọ̀nà àwọn ẹlẹ́ṣẹ̀,
tàbí tí kò sì jókòó ní ibùjókòó àwọn ẹlẹ́gàn.
2 Ṣùgbọ́n ayọ̀ inú rẹ̀ wà nínú òfin Olúwa
àti nínú òfin rẹ̀ ni ó ń ṣe àṣàrò ní ọ̀sán àti òru.
3 Ó dàbí igi tí a gbìn sí etí odò tí ń sàn,
tí ń so èso rẹ̀ jáde ní àkókò rẹ̀
tí ewé rẹ̀ kì yóò rẹ̀.
Ohunkóhun tí ó dáwọ́lé, ni yóò máa yọrí sí rere.
4 Kò le rí bẹ́ẹ̀ fún àwọn ènìyàn búburú!
Wọn yóò dàbí ìyàngbò ọkà
tí afẹ́fẹ́ ń fẹ́ dànù.
5 Nítorí náà àwọn ènìyàn búburú kì yóò le è dìde dúró ní ìdájọ́,
bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn ẹlẹ́ṣẹ̀ kì yóò le è dúró ní àwùjọ àwọn olódodo.
6 Nítorí Olúwa ń ṣọ́ ọ̀nà àwọn olódodo,
ṣùgbọ́n ọ̀nà àwọn ènìyàn búburú ni yóò ṣègbé.

The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly
1 Blessed (A)is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
(B)Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But (C)his delight is in the law of the Lord,
(D)And in His law he [b]meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
(E)Planted by the [c]rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall (F)prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so,
But are (G)like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For (H)the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

1 ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el hombre que no anda(A) en el consejo de los impíos(B),
Ni se detiene en el camino de los pecadores(C),
Ni se sienta en la silla de los escarnecedores(D),
2 Sino que en la ley del Señor está su deleite(E),
Y en Su ley medita de día(F) y de noche(G)!
3 Será como árbol plantado junto a corrientes de agua(H),
Que da su fruto a su tiempo
Y su hoja no se marchita;
En todo lo que hace, prospera(I).
4 ¶No así los impíos,
Que son como paja que se lleva el viento(J).
5 Por tanto, no se sostendrán los impíos(K) en el juicio(L),
Ni los pecadores en la congregación de los justos(M).
6 Porque el Señor conoce el camino de los justos(N),
Pero el camino de los impíos perecerá(O).

which yields its fruit(N) in season
