Fún adarí orin. Pẹ̀lú ohun èlò orin olókùn. Maskili ti Dafidi. Nígbà tí àwọn ará Sifi lọ sọ fún Saulu pé, “Dafidi sá pamọ́ sọ́dọ̀ wa”.
54 Gbà mí, Ọlọ́run nípa orúkọ rẹ:
dá mi láre nípa agbára rẹ.
2 Gbọ́ àdúrà mi, Ọlọ́run;
fi etí sí ọ̀rọ̀ ẹnu mi.
3 Àwọn agbéraga àlejò dìde sí mí.
Àwọn aninilára sì ń wá mi láti pa,
àwọn ẹni tí kò ka Ọlọ́run sí ní ojú wọn.
4 Kíyèsi i Ọlọ́run ni Olùrànlọ́wọ́ mi;
Olúwa ní ẹni tí ó mú mi dúró,
pa wọ́n run nínú òtítọ́ rẹ.
5 Jẹ́ kí ibi padà sẹ́yìn sí àwọn tí ń sọ̀rọ̀ ìbàjẹ́ sí mi;
pa wọ́n run nínú òtítọ́ rẹ.
6 Èmí yóò rú ẹbọ àtinúwá sí ọ,
èmi yóò yin orúkọ rẹ, Olúwa,
nítorí tí ó dára.
7 Nítorí tí ó yọ mí kúrò nínú ibi gbogbo
ojú mi ti wo ìṣẹ́gun lórí ọ̀tá mi.

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A maskil[b] of David. When the Ziphites(A) had gone to Saul and said, “Is not David hiding among us?”
1 Save me(B), O God, by your name;(C)
vindicate me by your might.(D)
2 Hear my prayer, O God;(E)
listen to the words of my mouth.
