16 Pa mí mọ́, Ọlọ́run,
nítorí nínú rẹ ni ààbò mi wà.
2 Mo sọ fún Olúwa, “ìwọ ni Olúwa mi,
lẹ́yìn rẹ èmi kò ní ìre kan.”
3 Sí àwọn ènìyàn tí ó wà ní ayé,
àwọn ni ológo nínú èyí tí ayọ̀ mí wà.
4 Ìṣòro àwọn wọ̀n-ọn-nì yóò pọ̀ sí i, àní àwọn tí ń tọ ọlọ́run mìíràn lẹ́yìn.
Ẹbọ ohun mímu ẹ̀jẹ̀ wọn ni èmi kì yóò ta sílẹ̀,
bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi kì yóò dá orúkọ wọn lẹ́nu mi.
5 Olúwa, ni ìpín ìní mi tí mo yàn àti ago mi,
ó ti pa ohun tí í ṣe tèmi mọ́.
6 Okùn ààlà ilẹ̀ ti bọ́ sí ọ̀dọ̀ mi ní ibi dídára;
nítòótọ́ mo ti ní ogún rere.
7 Èmi yóò yin Olúwa, ẹni tí ó gbà mí ní ìyànjú;
ní òru, ọkàn mí ń bá mi sọ̀rọ̀.
8 (A)Mo ti gbé Ọlọ́run síwájú mi ní ìgbà gbogbo.
Nítorí tí ó wà ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún mi, a kì yóò mì mí.
9 Nítorí èyí, ọkàn mi yọ̀, ahọ́n mi pẹ̀lú ń fò fáyọ̀;
ara mi pẹ̀lú yóò sinmi ní ààbò,
10 (B)nítorí ìwọ kò ní fi ọ̀kan sílẹ̀ nínú isà òkú,
tàbí kí ìwọ jẹ́ kí ẹni mímọ́ rẹ kí ó rí ìdíbàjẹ́.
11 Ìwọ ti fi ipa ọ̀nà ìyè hàn mí;
Ìwọ yóò kún mi pẹ̀lú ayọ̀ ní iwájú rẹ,
pẹ̀lú ìdùnnú ayérayé ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ.

Psalm 16
A miktam[a] of David.
2 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;(C)
apart from you I have no good thing.”(D)
3 I say of the holy people(E) who are in the land,(F)
“They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods(G) will suffer(H) more and more.
I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
or take up their names(I) on my lips.
5 Lord, you alone are my portion(J) and my cup;(K)
you make my lot(L) secure.
6 The boundary lines(M) have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.(N)
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;(O)
even at night(P) my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand,(Q) I will not be shaken.(R)
9 Therefore my heart is glad(S) and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,(T)
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,(U)
nor will you let your faithful[b] one(V) see decay.(W)
11 You make known to me the path of life;(X)
you will fill me with joy in your presence,(Y)
with eternal pleasures(Z) at your right hand.(AA)
