Sòm 68
Haitian Creole Version
68 ¶ (68:1) Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon sòm David. Se yon chante. (68:2) Lè Bondye kanpe, lènmi l' yo gaye, moun ki rayi l' yo kouri lè l' parèt.
2 (68:3) Menm jan lafimen disparèt nan lè a, se konsa w'ap disparèt yo. Menm jan lasi fonn nan dife, se konsa mechan yo gen pou yo mouri devan Bondye.
3 (68:4) Men moun ki mache dwat yo ap kontan, y'ap fè fèt devan Bondye. Y'ap kontan anpil anpil.
4 (68:5) Chante pou Bondye, fè fèt pou li. Louvri chemen nan laplenn lan bay moun k'ap vini an. Se Seyè ki non li. Fè kè nou kontan lè li parèt devan nou.
5 (68:6) Bondye rete nan kay ki apa pou li a, li sèvi papa pou timoun ki san papa yo, li pwoteje vèv yo.
6 (68:7) Moun ki san fanmi yo, li ba yo fanmi. Li fè prizonye yo soti nan prizon, li fè kè yo kontan. Men, pou moun k'ap kenbe tèt avè l' yo, y'ap rete nan prizon.
7 ¶ (68:8) O Bondye, lè ou t'ap mache alatèt pèp ou a, lè ou t'ap travèse dezè a,
8 (68:9) tè a te pran tranble, lapli te pran tonbe soti nan syèl la devan Bondye. devan Bondye mòn Sinayi a, wi, devan Bondye pèp Izrayèl la.
9 (68:10) Bondye, ou fè lapli tonbe an kantite sou latè.
13 (68:14) Lè nou rete kouche nan pak mouton yo zèl pijon an klere tankou ajan. Plimaj li jòn tankou lò.
14 (68:15) Lè Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a te gaye wa yo nan peyi a, li te fè lanèj kouvri mòn Salmon.
15 ¶ (68:16) Ala yon gwo mòn ki wo se mòn Bazan! Se yon mòn ki gen anpil tèt, mòn Bazan an!
16 (68:17) Poukisa, ou menm mòn ki gen anpil tèt la, w'ap fè jalouzi pou mòn Bondye chwazi pou fè kay pou l' rete a? Se la Seyè a ap rete pou tout tan.
17 (68:18) Seyè a gen anpil cha! Li moute sou yo. Li soti mòn Sinayi pou li al kote ki apa pou li a.
18 (68:19) Ou moute anwo, ou mennen anpil prizonye ale avè ou. Yo fè ou kado anpil moun, menm moun ki te leve dèyè ou yo.
19 (68:20) Ann fè lwanj Seyè a chak jou! Li pote chay nou pou nou: Se li ki Bondye nou, se li ki delivre nou.
20 (68:21) Bondye sa a se Bondye delivrans nou! Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ap wete nou nan bouch twou a.
21 (68:22) Bondye gen pou l' kraze tèt lènmi li yo. Wi, li gen pou l' kraze zo bwa tèt moun k'ap viv nan peche.
22 ¶ (68:23) Seyè di: -M'ap fè lènmi yo tounen soti nan peyi Bazan. M'ap fè yo tounen soti nan fon lanmè a.
23 (68:24) pou ou ka mache nan san yo, pou chen ou yo ka jwenn pa yo nan lènmi ou yo.
24 (68:25) Bondye, tout moun wè jan y'ap fè fèt pou ou. Yo wè ki jan Bondye mwen an, wa mwen an, ap mache antre kote ki apa pou li a.
25 (68:26) Moun k'ap chante ap mache devan, mizisyen yo dèyè. Jenn fi yo nan mitan, y'ap bat tanbouren.
26 (68:27) Fè lwanj Bondye nan mitan pèp la lè l' reyini. Fè lwanj li, nou tout pitit pitit Izrayèl yo!
27 (68:28) Benjamen, ki pi piti a, vin alatèt yo. Apre li, vini chèf peyi Jida yo ak lame yo. Apre yo, vini chèf peyi Zabilon ak chèf peyi Neftali yo.
28 (68:29) Bondye, fè wè pouvwa ou non! Wi, fè wè pouvwa ou te sèvi pou nou an!
29 (68:30) Rete nan tanp ou a lavil Jerizalèm, kote wa yo ap pote kado ba ou.
30 (68:31) Fè bèt ki rete anba wozo yo pè, fè bann towo bèf ak jenn ti towo yo pè tou, jouk y'a vin soumèt devan ou, jouk y'a vin ofri ajan ba ou.
Chante pou fè lwanj Seyè a,33 (68:34) pou Bondye k'ap kouri chwal li nan syèl la, nan syèl ki la depi lontan lontan an. Tande jan l'ap rele, jan l'ap rele byen fò.
34 (68:35) L'ap di: -Rekonèt jan Bondye gen pouvwa! L'ap dominen sou pèp Izrayèl la. Syèl la fè nou konnen jan li gen pouvwa.
35 (68:36) Bondye chita kote ki apa pou li a, li fè tout moun respekte l'. Bondye pèp Izrayèl la bay pèp li a fòs ak kouraj. Di Bondye mèsi!

Psalm 68
International Standard Version
To the Director of music: A Psalm. A song.
A Song of Praise to God
68 God arises,
and his enemies are scattered.
Those who hate him flee from his presence.[a]
2 As smoke is driven away, so you drive them away.
As wax melts in the presence of fire,
so the wicked die in the presence of God.
3 But the righteous rejoice and exult before God;
they are overwhelmed with joy.
4 Sing to God!
Sing praise to his name!
Exalt the one who rides on the clouds.
The Lord is his name.
Be jubilant in his presence.
5 A father to orphans and an advocate for widows
is God in his holy dwelling place.
6 God causes the lonely to dwell in families.[b]
He leads prisoners into prosperity,
but rebels live on parched land.
7 God, when you led out your people,
when you marched through the desert,
8 the land quaked.
Indeed, the heavens poured down rain
from the presence of God,
this God of Sinai,
from the presence of God,
the God of Israel.
9 God, you poured out abundant rain on your inheritance.
When Israel[c] was weary, you sustained her.
10 Your people live[d] there;
you sustain the needy[e] with your goodness, God.
11 The Lord issues a command.
Numerous are the women who announce the news:
12 “Kings of armies retreat and flee,
while the lady of the house divides the spoil.
13 When you men lie down among the sheepfolds,
you are like[f] the wings of the dove covered with silver,
with its feathers in glittering gold.”
14 When the Almighty scattered the kings there,
there was snow on Mt. Zalmon.
15 The mountain of God is as the mountain of Bashan;
a mountain of many peaks is Mount Bashan.
16 You mountains of many peaks, why do you watch with envy
the mountain in which God has chosen to dwell?
Indeed, the Lord will live there forever.
17 God’s chariots were many thousands.
The Lord was there with them at Sinai in holiness.
18 You ascended to the heights,
you took captives.
You received gifts among mankind,
even the rebellious,
so the Lord God may live there.[g]
19 Blessed be the Lord who daily carries us.
God is our deliverer.
20 God is for us the God of our deliverance.
The Lord God rescues us from death.
21 God surely strikes the heads of his enemies,
even the hairy heads of those who continue in their guilt.
22 The Lord says, “From Bashan I will bring them,
I will bring them from the depths of the sea,
23 that your feet may wade through blood.
The tongues of your dogs will have their portions
from your enemies.”
24 They have observed your processions, God,
the processions of my God,
my king, in the sanctuary.
25 The singers are in front,
the musicians follow,
strumming their stringed instruments
among the maidens who are playing their tambourines.
26 Bless God in the great congregation,
the Lord who is the fountain of Israel.
27 Little Benjamin is there, leading them,
and the princes of Judah all together
with the princes of Zebulun and the princes of Naphtali.
28 Summon the power of your God,
the power, God, that you have shown us.
29 Because of your Temple in Jerusalem,
kings bring tribute to you.
30 Rebuke the wildlife that lives among the reeds,
the nations that congregate like bulls and cows,
humbling themselves with pieces of silver,
for God[h] scatters the nations that delight in battle.
31 Envoys will come from Egypt.
Let the Ethiopians stretch out their hands to God.
32 You kingdoms of the earth, sing to God!
Sing praises to the Lord,
33 to the one who rides the heavens, the ancient heavens.
Behold! He thunders with a mighty voice.
34 Ascribe power to God, whose glory is over Israel,
whose power is in the skies.
35 You are awesome, God, from your sanctuaries.
The God of Israel is the one
who gives strength and power to the people.
Blessed be God!
