102 ¶ (102:1) Lapriyè yon moun ki anba tray. Li pa kapab sipòte ankò. L'ap rakonte Bondye ka li. (102:2) Seyè, koute m' non lè m'ap lapriyè, se pou rèl mwen rive nan zòrèy ou.

(102:3) Pa vire do ban mwen lè mwen nan traka. Panche zòrèy ou bò kote m'. Prese vin reponn mwen lè m'ap rele ou.

(102:4) Lavi m' ap disparèt tankou lafimen. Mwen gen yon lafyèb nan zo.

(102:5) Mwen anba gwo kou. Mwen tankou zèb koupe k'ap cheche. Mwen sitèlman boulvèse, mwen pa menm chonje manje.

(102:6) Mwen tounen zo ak po tèlman m'ap plenn.

(102:7) Mwen sanble yon tako savann, mwen tankou frize ki rete nan vye kay kraze.

(102:8) Mwen pa ka dòmi, mwen tankou yon zwezo ki pou kont li sou yon do kay.

(102:9) Tout lajounen lènmi m' yo ap joure m'. Moun k'ap pase m' nan rizib yo pran non m' sèvi jouman.

(102:10) Se sann dife ki tout manje m'. Dlo nan je m' fè yon sèl ak dlo m'ap bwè.

10 (102:11) Ou sitèlman ankòlè, ou sitèlman fache, ou pran m', ou voye m' jete byen lwen.

11 (102:12) Kò m' ap tchoule tankou solèy k'ap kouche. M'ap cheche tankou zèb.

12 ¶ (102:13) Men ou menm, Seyè, w'ap gouvènen pou tout tan. Pitit an pitit y'ap chonje non ou!

13 (102:14) W'a leve, w'a gen pitye pou lavil Siyon an, paske li lè pou ou gen pitye pou li. Jou a rive.

14 (102:15) Moun k'ap sèvi ou yo renmen lavil Siyon an. Kè yo fè yo mal pou yo wè jan l'ap fini.

15 (102:16) Lè sa a, moun lòt nasyon yo va gen krentif pou Seyè a, tout wa ki sou latè va pè bèl pouvwa li.

16 (102:17) Seyè a va rebati lavil Siyon, l'a fè wè jan li gen pouvwa.

17 (102:18) L'a pran ka moun ki san sekou yo lè y'a lapriyè, wi, li p'ap meprize lapriyè yo.

18 (102:19) Se pou yo ekri sa pou timoun k'ap vini yo ka konnen l', pou timoun ki poko fèt yo ka fè lwanj li.

19 (102:20) Seyè a rete anwo nan kay ki apa pou li a, li gade anba, li rete anwo nan syèl la, l'ap gade sou latè,

20 (102:21) pou l' tande jan prizonye yo ap plenn, pou l' delivre moun yo kondannen amò yo.

21 (102:22) Konsa, moun va nonmen non Seyè a nan tout lavil Siyon an. Y'a fè lwanj li nan lavil Jerizalèm,

22 (102:23) lè tout nasyon yo ak tout gouvènman ki sou latè yo va sanble pou sèvi Seyè a.

23 ¶ (102:24) Mwen te jenn gason toujou lè Seyè a kraze kouraj mwen: li koupe sou lavi m'.

24 (102:25) Mwen di: Bondye mwen, ou menm k'ap viv pou tout tan, pa pran m' koulye a. Mwen jenn gason toujou.

25 (102:26) Se ou menm, Seyè, ki te kreye latè nan tan lontan. Se avèk men ou ou te fè syèl la.

26 (102:27) Yo gen pou yo disparèt, men ou menm w'ap toujou la. Yo gen pou yo vin vye tankou rad. W'ap chanje yo tankou yo chanje rad, w'a mete yo sou kote.

27 (102:28) Men ou menm, ou p'ap janm chanje, ou p'ap janm mouri.

28 (102:29) Pitit sèvitè ou yo va rete nan peyi a san danje. Pitit pitit yo va toujou viv devan je ou.

Psalm 102[a]

A prayer of an afflicted person who has grown weak and pours out a lament before the Lord.

Hear my prayer,(A) Lord;
    let my cry for help(B) come to you.
Do not hide your face(C) from me
    when I am in distress.
Turn your ear(D) to me;
    when I call, answer me quickly.

For my days vanish like smoke;(E)
    my bones(F) burn like glowing embers.
My heart is blighted and withered like grass;(G)
    I forget to eat my food.(H)
In my distress I groan aloud(I)
    and am reduced to skin and bones.
I am like a desert owl,(J)
    like an owl among the ruins.
I lie awake;(K) I have become
    like a bird alone(L) on a roof.
All day long my enemies(M) taunt me;(N)
    those who rail against me use my name as a curse.(O)
For I eat ashes(P) as my food
    and mingle my drink with tears(Q)
10 because of your great wrath,(R)
    for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.
11 My days are like the evening shadow;(S)
    I wither(T) away like grass.

12 But you, Lord, sit enthroned forever;(U)
    your renown endures(V) through all generations.(W)
13 You will arise(X) and have compassion(Y) on Zion,
    for it is time(Z) to show favor(AA) to her;
    the appointed time(AB) has come.
14 For her stones are dear to your servants;
    her very dust moves them to pity.
15 The nations will fear(AC) the name of the Lord,
    all the kings(AD) of the earth will revere your glory.
16 For the Lord will rebuild Zion(AE)
    and appear in his glory.(AF)
17 He will respond to the prayer(AG) of the destitute;
    he will not despise their plea.

18 Let this be written(AH) for a future generation,
    that a people not yet created(AI) may praise the Lord:
19 “The Lord looked down(AJ) from his sanctuary on high,
    from heaven he viewed the earth,
20 to hear the groans of the prisoners(AK)
    and release those condemned to death.”
21 So the name of the Lord will be declared(AL) in Zion
    and his praise(AM) in Jerusalem
22 when the peoples and the kingdoms
    assemble to worship(AN) the Lord.

23 In the course of my life[b] he broke my strength;
    he cut short my days.(AO)
24 So I said:
“Do not take me away, my God, in the midst of my days;
    your years go on(AP) through all generations.
25 In the beginning(AQ) you laid the foundations of the earth,
    and the heavens(AR) are the work of your hands.(AS)
26 They will perish,(AT) but you remain;
    they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
    and they will be discarded.
27 But you remain the same,(AU)
    and your years will never end.(AV)
28 The children of your servants(AW) will live in your presence;
    their descendants(AX) will be established before you.”
