7 And after Boaz had eaten and drunk, and (A)his heart was cheerful, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of grain; and she came softly, uncovered his feet, and lay down.
8 Now it happened at midnight that the man was startled, and turned himself; and there, a woman was lying at his feet. 9 And he said, “Who are you?”
So she answered, “I am Ruth, your maidservant. (B)Take[a] your maidservant under your wing, for you are (C)a [b]close relative.”

7 Nang matapos kumain at uminom si Boaz, gumanda ang pakiramdam niya. Nahiga siya sa tabi ng bunton ng sebada para matulog. Dahan-dahang lumapit si Ruth at iniangat ang kumot sa paanan niya at nahiga roon. 8 At nang maghahatinggabi na ay nagising si Boaz, at nang nag-inat[a] siya, nagulat siya na may babaeng nakahiga sa paanan niya. 9 Nagtanong si Boaz, “Sino ka?” Sumagot siya, “Ako po si Ruth. Isa po ako sa malapit nʼyong kamag-anak na dapat nʼyong pangalagaan. Takpan nʼyo po ako ng damit ninyo para ipakita na pakakasalan at pangangalagaan nʼyo ako.”

New International Version
7 When Boaz had finished eating and drinking and was in good spirits,(A) he went over to lie down at the far end of the grain pile.(B) Ruth approached quietly, uncovered his feet and lay down. 8 In the middle of the night something startled the man; he turned—and there was a woman lying at his feet!
9 “Who are you?” he asked.
“I am your servant Ruth,” she said. “Spread the corner of your garment(C) over me, since you are a guardian-redeemer[a](D) of our family.”
