Ruth 1:20-21

²⁰“Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara,”^[a] she answered, “for the Almighty^(A) has made me very bitter.^(B) ²¹I went away full, but the Lord has brought me back empty.^(C) Why do you call me Naomi, since the Lord has opposed^[b] me, and the Almighty has afflicted me?”
