12 and thine house be made as the house of Pharez, whom Tamar childed to Judah, of the seed which the Lord shall give to thee of this damsel. 13 Then Boaz took Ruth, and he took her to wife (and he made her his wife); and he entered to her, and the Lord gave to her, that she conceived, and childed a son.

Naomi Gains a Son

13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive,(C) and she gave birth to a son.(D) 14 The women(E) said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord,(F) who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer.(G) May he become famous throughout Israel!
