5 Genom honom har vi fått nåden och apostlaämbetet för att kalla alla folk till trons lydnad, och genom detta ge honom ära. 6 Och bland dessa som har kallats att tillhöra Jesus Kristus är också ni.
7 Till alla i Rom som är älskade av Gud och kallade att vara heliga:
Nåd och frid åt er från Gud, vår Fader, och Herren Jesus Kristus.

5 genom vilken vi hava fått nåd och apostlaämbete för att, hans namn till ära, upprätta trons lydnad bland alla hednafolk,
6 bland vilka jämväl I ären, I som ären kallade och Jesu Kristi egna --
7 jag, Paulus, hälsar alla Guds älskade som bo i Rom, dem som äro kallade och heliga. Nåd vare med eder och frid ifrån Gud, vår Fader, och Herren Jesus Kristus.
