¹⁶ The Spirit Himself ^(A)testifies with our spirit that we are ^(B)children of God,

¹³ We also speak these things, ^(A)not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, ^[a]combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

¹⁴ But ^[b]a ^(B)natural person ^(C)does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are ^(D)foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. ¹⁵ But the one who is ^(E)spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is ^[c]discerned by no one.

¹³ Because of this, we have been ^(A)comforted.

And besides our comfort, we rejoiced even much more for the joy of ^(B)Titus, because his ^(C)spirit has been refreshed by you all.

^25 (A)The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be ^(B)with your spirit.^[a]

²³ Now ^(A)may the God of peace ^(B)Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your ^(C)spirit and soul and body be kept complete, ^(D)without blame at ^(E)the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
