³³ Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? ^(A)It is God who justifies.

¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now ^(A)the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers^[a] has been thrown down, ^(B)who accuses them day and night before our God. ¹¹ And ^(C)they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for ^(D)they loved not their lives ^(E)even unto death.

8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.^[a]

⁷ And ^(A)will not God give justice to ^(B)his elect, ^(C)who cry to him day and night? ^(D)(E)Will he delay long over them?

A Vision of Joshua the High Priest

3 Then he showed me ^(A)Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and ^(B)Satan^[a] standing at his right hand to accuse him. ² And the Lord said to Satan, ^(C)“The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has ^(D)chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this ^(E)a brand^[b] plucked from the fire?” ³ Now ^(F)Joshua was standing before the angel, ^(G)clothed with filthy garments. ⁴ And the angel said to ^(H)those who were standing before him, ^(I)“Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, ^(J)I have taken your iniquity away from you, and ^(K)I will clothe you with pure vestments.”

⁴ For we know, ^(A)brothers^[a] loved by God, ^(B)that he has chosen you,

²⁴ For ^(A)false christs and ^(B)false prophets will arise and ^(C)perform great signs and wonders, ^(D)so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
