³ For ^(A)what the Law could not do, ^[a](B)weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in ^(C)the likeness of ^[b]sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

²⁸ For the Law appoints men as high priests ^(A)who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints ^(B)a Son, ^(C)made perfect forever.

⁹ and may be found in Him, not having ^(A)a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, ^(B)the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, ¹⁰ that I may ^(C)know Him and ^(D)the power of His resurrection and ^[a](E)the fellowship of His sufferings, being ^(F)conformed to His death; ^11 [b]in order that I may ^(G)attain to the resurrection from the dead.

¹² Not that I have already ^(H)obtained it or have already ^(I)become perfect, but I press on ^[c]so that I may ^(J)lay hold of that ^[d]for which also I ^(K)was laid hold of by ^(L)Christ Jesus.

²¹ who will ^(A)transform ^[a]the body of our humble state into ^(B)conformity with ^[b]the ^(C)body of His glory, ^(D)by the exertion of the power that He has even to ^(E)subject all things to Himself.
