24 For (A)in hope we were saved, but (B)hope that is seen is not hope, for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But (C)if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we eagerly wait for it.
26 And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness, for (D)we do not know how to pray as we should, but (E)the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;

New International Version
24 For in this hope we were saved.(A) But hope that is seen is no hope at all.(B) Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.(C)
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit(D) himself intercedes for us(E) through wordless groans.
