²³ Not only that, but we also who have ^(A)the firstfruits of the Spirit, ^(B)even we ourselves groan ^(C)within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the ^(D)redemption of our body.

²⁰ For ^(A)our citizenship is in heaven, ^(B)from which we also ^(C)eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, ^21 (D)who will transform our lowly body that it may be ^(E)conformed to His glorious body, ^(F)according to the working by which He is able even to ^(G)subdue all things to Himself.

² For in this ^(A)we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our ^[a]habitation which is from heaven, ³ if indeed, ^(B)having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. ⁴ For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, ^(C)but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. ⁵ Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also ^(D)has given us the Spirit as ^[b]a guarantee.

²⁸ so ^(A)Christ was ^(B)offered once to bear the sins ^(C)of many. To those who ^(D)eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

^14 (A)who^[a] is the ^[b]guarantee of our inheritance ^(B)until the redemption of ^(C)the purchased possession, ^(D)to the praise of His glory.

³⁰ And ^(A)do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

^13 (A)looking for the blessed ^(B)hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

²⁴ O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me ^(A)from this body of death?

⁵ For we through the Spirit eagerly ^(A)wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
