Romans 7:6-8
New American Standard Bible 1995
6 But now we have been (A)released from the Law, having (B)died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in (C)newness of (D)the [a]Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.
7 (E)What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? (F)May it never be! On the contrary, (G)I would not have come to know sin except [b]through the Law; for I would not have known about [c]coveting if the Law had not said, “(H)You shall not [d]covet.” 8 But sin, (I)taking opportunity (J)through the commandment, produced in me [e]coveting of every kind; for (K)apart [f]from the Law sin is dead.

Romans 7:6-8
King James Version
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
