The Fruit of Sin Is Shame And Death; Righteousness Leads To Holiness And Life

²⁰ For when you were slaves of sin, you were free to^[a] righteousness. ²¹ So what fruit were you having at that time? Things^[b] over which you are now ashamed! For the outcome of those things is death. ²² But now having been set-free from sin and enslaved to God, you are having your fruit leading-to holiness. And the outcome is eternal life! ²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
