¹¹ Likewise you also, ^[a]reckon yourselves to be ^(A)dead indeed to sin, but ^(B)alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

^12 (C)Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. ¹³ And do not present your ^(D)members as ^[b]instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but ^(E)present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

¹⁶ Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For ^(A)“the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” ^17 (B)But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

^18 (C)Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins ^(D)against his own body.
