⁸ But God ^(A)demonstrates ^(B)His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, ^(C)Christ died for us. ⁹ Much more then, having now been justified ^[a](D)by His blood, we shall be saved ^(E)from the wrath of God through Him. ¹⁰ For if while we were ^(F)enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved ^[b](G)by His life. ^11 (H)And not only this, but ^[c]we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received ^(I)the reconciliation.

¹⁸ Now ^(A)all these things are from God, ^(B)who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ^(C)ministry of reconciliation, ¹⁹ namely, that ^(D)God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, ^(E)not counting their wrongdoings against them, and ^[a]He has ^[b]committed to us the word of reconciliation.

²⁰ Therefore, we are ^(F)ambassadors for Christ, ^(G)as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be ^(H)reconciled to God. ²¹ He made Him who ^(I)knew no sin to be ^[c](J)sin in our behalf, so that we might become the ^(K)righteousness of God in Him.

¹⁹ For ^[a]it was ^(A)the Father’s good pleasure for all ^(B)the ^[b]fullness to dwell in Him, ²⁰ and through Him to ^(C)reconcile all things to Himself, ^(D)whether things on earth or things in ^[c]heaven, having made ^(E)peace through ^(F)the blood of His cross.

²¹ And although you were ^(G)previously alienated and hostile in attitude, engaged in evil deeds, ²² yet He has now ^(H)reconciled you in His ^(I)body of flesh through death, in order to ^(J)present you before Him ^(K)holy and blameless and beyond reproach—
