¹⁷ As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations.”Genesis 17:5 This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.

²⁸ We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.

⁶ that the fellowship of your faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus.
