Romans 3:9-31
New King James Version
All Have Sinned(A)
9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that (B)they are all under sin.
10 As it is written:
(C)“There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”
13 “Their(D) throat is an open [a]tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
(E)“The poison of asps is under their lips”;
14 “Whose(F) mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “Their(G) feet are swift to shed blood;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17 And the way of peace they have not known.”
18 “There(H) is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19 Now we know that whatever (I)the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that (J)every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become [b]guilty before God. 20 Therefore (K)by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
God’s Righteousness Through Faith
21 But now (L)the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, (M)being witnessed by the Law (N)and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all [c]and on all who believe. For (O)there is no difference; 23 for (P)all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified [d]freely (Q)by His grace (R)through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth (S)as a [e]propitiation (T)by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over (U)the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Boasting Excluded
27 (V)Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude (W)that a man is [f]justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30 since (X)there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Redemption in Christ
3 (A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as (B)He chose us in Him (C)before the foundation of the world, that we should (D)be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 (E)having predestined us to (F)adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, (G)according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, (H)by which He [a]made us accepted in (I)the Beloved.
7 (J)In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to (K)the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and [b]prudence, 9 (L)having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure (M)which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of (N)the fullness of the times (O)He might gather together in one (P)all things in Christ, [c]both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 (Q)In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to (R)the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 (S)that we (T)who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard (U)the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, (V)you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 (W)who[d] is the [e]guarantee of our inheritance (X)until the redemption of (Y)the purchased possession, (Z)to the praise of His glory.
