^28 [a]For ^(A)we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from works ^[b]of the Law.

³ For ^(A)what the Law could not do, ^[a](B)weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in ^(C)the likeness of ^[b]sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, ⁴ so that the ^(D)requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who ^(E)do not walk ^[c]according to the flesh but ^[d]according to the Spirit.
