²⁵ whom God displayed publicly as ^(A)a ^[a]propitiation ^[b](B)in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, ^[c]because in God’s merciful ^(C)restraint He ^(D)let the sins previously committed go unpunished;

⁸ But God ^(A)demonstrates ^(B)His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, ^(C)Christ died for us. ⁹ Much more then, having now been justified ^[a](D)by His blood, we shall be saved ^(E)from the wrath of God through Him.
