²³ for all ^[a](A)have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ²⁴ being justified as a gift ^(B)by His grace through ^(C)the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God displayed publicly as ^(D)a ^[b]propitiation ^[c](E)in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, ^[d]because in God’s merciful ^(F)restraint He ^(G)let the sins previously committed go unpunished; ²⁶ for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who ^[e]has faith in Jesus.

²¹ He made Him who ^(A)knew no sin to be ^[a](B)sin in our behalf, so that we might become the ^(C)righteousness of God in Him.

¹³ for “^(A)Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

²³ And He was saying to them, “^(A)You are from below, I am from above; ^(B)you are of this world, ^(C)I am not of this world. ²⁴ Therefore I said to you that you ^(D)will die in your sins; for unless you believe that ^[a](E)I am, ^(F)you will die in your sins.”
