Romans 3:16-23

New International Version

¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the law says,^(C) it says to those who are under the law,^(D) so that every mouth may be silenced^(E) and the whole world held accountable to God.^{(F) 20} Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law;^(G) rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.^(H)

Righteousness Through Faith

²¹ But now apart from the law the righteousness of God^(I) has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.^{(J) 22} This righteousness^(K) is given through faith^(L) in^[c] Jesus Christ^(M) to all who believe.^(N) There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,^{(O) 23} for all have sinned^(P) and fall short of the glory of God,
