^21 (A)you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? ²² You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you ^(B)rob temples?

⁴ Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that ^(A)“an idol has no real existence,” and that ^(B)“there is no God but one.” ⁵ For although there may be ^(C)so-called gods in heaven or on earth—as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”— ⁶ yet ^(D)for us there is one God, the Father, ^(E)from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and ^(F)one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and ^(G)through whom we exist.

¹¹ For ^(A)the grace of God ^(B)has appeared, bringing salvation ^(C)for all people, ¹² training us to renounce ungodliness and ^(D)worldly passions, and ^(E)to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in ^(F)the present age, ^13 (G)waiting for our blessed ^(H)hope, the ^(I)appearing of the glory of our great ^(J)God and Savior Jesus Christ, ^14 (K)who gave himself for us to ^(L)redeem us from all lawlessness and ^(M)to purify for himself ^(N)a people for his own possession who are ^(O)zealous for good works.
