4 For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction,(A) so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures.
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Do not muzzle an ox(A) while it treads out grain.(B)[a] Is God really concerned with oxen?
11 Now these things happened to them as examples, and they were written as a warning to us,(A) on whom the ends of the ages(B) have come.(C)
