10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.[a](A) 11 For it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall give praise to[b] God.”(B)
12 So then, each one of us will be held accountable.[c](C)

10 Why, then, do you criticize your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? For all of us will stand before the judgment seat of God.[a] 11 For it is written,
“As certainly as I live, declares the Lord,[b]
every knee will bow to me,
and every tongue will praise[c] God.”[d]
12 Consequently, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
