10 But you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.[a](A) 11 For it is written,
As I live, says the Lord,
every knee will bow to me,(B)
and every tongue will give praise to God.[b](C)
12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.(D)

10 Why, then, do you criticize your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? For all of us will stand before the judgment seat of God.[a] 11 For it is written,
“As certainly as I live, declares the Lord,[b]
every knee will bow to me,

12 Consequently, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
