¹⁷ for the kingdom of God ^(A)is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and ^(B)peace and ^(C)joy in the Holy Spirit.

² For by it the ^(A)people of old ^[a](B)gained approval.

⁹ Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write: ‘^(A)Blessed are the dead who ^(B)die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” ^(C)says the Spirit, “so that they may ^(D)rest from their labors, for their ^(E)deeds follow with them.”
