Romans 13:6-8

6 For for this cause ye pay tribute also; for they are ministers of God’s service, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.
8 Owe no man anything, save to love one another: for he that loveth [a]his neighbor hath fulfilled the law.

6 And for this reason you pay taxes, since the authorities are God’s public servants, continually attending to these tasks.[a] 7 Pay your obligations(A) to everyone: taxes to those you owe taxes,(B) tolls to those you owe tolls, respect to those you owe respect,(C) and honor to those you owe honor.

8 Do not owe anyone anything,[b] except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.(D)
