For I say through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith. For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another, having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us: if prophecy, let’s prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; or service, let’s give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching; or he who exhorts, to his exhorting; he who gives, let him do it with generosity; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

For through (A)the grace given to me I say to everyone among you (B)not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to (C)each a measure of faith. For (D)just as we have many parts in one body and all [a]the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, (E)who are many, are (F)one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another. However, since we have gifts that (G)differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them properly: if (H)prophecy, [b]in proportion to one’s faith; if [c](I)service, in the act of serving; or the one who (J)teaches, in the act of teaching; or the one who [d](K)exhorts, in the work of [e]exhortation; the one who gives, with [f](L)generosity; (M)the one who [g]is in leadership, with diligence; the one who shows mercy, with (N)cheerfulness.
