⁸ if exhorting,^(A) in exhortation; giving, with generosity;^(B) leading,^(C) with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.^(D)

² During a severe trial brought about by affliction, their abundant joy and their extreme poverty overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part.^(A)

¹¹ You will be enriched^(A) in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.

¹³ Because of the proof provided by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedient confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity^(A) in sharing with them and with everyone.

⁵ Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God—who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly—and it will be given to him.^(A)
