²⁶ And ^(A)when he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples. And they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple. ²⁷ But ^(B)Barnabas took him and ^(C)brought him to the apostles and declared to them ^(D)how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and ^(E)how at Damascus he had ^(F)preached boldly in the name of Jesus. ²⁸ So he went ^(G)in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord.

²³ He refused and said, “I will not eat.” But his servants, together with the woman, urged him, and he listened to their words. So he arose from the earth and sat on the bed. ²⁴ Now the woman had a fattened calf in the house, and she quickly killed it, and she took flour and kneaded it and baked unleavened bread of it, ²⁵ and she put it before Saul and his servants, and they ate. Then they rose and went away that night.
