A Living Sacrifice

12 ^(A)I appeal to you therefore, brothers,^[a] by the mercies of God, ^(B)to present your bodies ^(C)as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.^{[b] 2 (D)}Do not be conformed to this world,^[c] but be transformed by ^(E)the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may ^(F)discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.^[d]

^12 (A)Rejoice in hope, ^(B)be patient in tribulation, ^(C)be constant in prayer. ^13 (D)Contribute to the needs of the saints and ^(E)seek to show hospitality.

^14 (F)Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. ^15 (G)Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. ^16 (H)Live in harmony with one another. ^(I)Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly.^{[a] (J)}Never be wise in your own sight.

^20 (A)Now to ^(B)him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, ^(C)according to the power at work within us, ^21 (D)to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
