Romans 10:18-21

¹⁸But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for

^(A)“Their voice has gone out ^(B)to all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.”

¹⁹But I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says,

^(C)“I will ^(D)make you jealous of those who are not a nation;
with a ^(E)foolish nation I will make you angry.”

²⁰Then Isaiah is so bold as to say,

^(F)“I have been found by those who did not seek me;
I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”

²¹But of Israel he says, ^(G)“All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

¹⁸But I ask, “Did they not hear?” Yes, they did:

Their voice has gone out to all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the inhabited world.^(A)^[a]

¹⁹But I ask, “Did Israel not understand?” First, Moses said:

I will make you jealous
of those who are not a nation;^(B)
I will make you angry by a nation
that lacks understanding.^(C)^[b]

²⁰And Isaiah says boldly:

I was found
by those who were not looking for Me;
I revealed Myself
to those who were not asking for Me.^(D)^[c]

²¹But to Israel he says: All day long I have spread out My hands to a disobedient and defiant people.^(E)^[d]
