⁷ To all God’s beloved in Rome, who are called to be saints:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁷ And God,^[a] who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit^[b] intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.^[c]

¹³ Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.

²⁵ At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem in a ministry to the saints; ²⁶ for Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to share their resources with the poor among the saints at Jerusalem.

³¹ that I may be rescued from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my ministry^[a] to Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,

16 I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon^[a] of the church at Cenchreae, ² so that you may welcome her in the Lord as is fitting for the saints, and help her in whatever she may require from you, for she has been a benefactor of many and of myself as well.
