2 which he promised beforehand(A) through his prophets(B) in the Holy Scriptures— 3 concerning his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was a descendant of David[a](C) according to the flesh(D) 4 and was appointed to be the powerful(E) Son of God(F) according to the Spirit of holiness[b] by the resurrection of the dead.
