The Righteous Will Live by Faith

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel,^[a](A) because it is the power of God for salvation^(B) to everyone who believes, first to the Jew,^(C) and also to the Greek.^(D)

⁸ But God proves^(A) his own love for us^(B) in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

⁹ If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”^(A) and believe in your heart^(B) that God raised him from the dead,^(C) you will be saved. ¹⁰ One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
