The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

¹⁶ For ^(A)I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is ^(B)the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew ^(C)first and also to ^(D)the Greek.

¹³ For ^(A)“everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

¹⁴ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him ^(B)of whom they have never heard?^[a] And how are they to hear ^(C)without someone preaching? ¹⁵ And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ^(D)“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

³⁸ For ^(A)whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this ^(B)adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed ^(C)when he comes in the glory of his Father with ^(D)the holy angels.”
