The Justified Are Reconciled
6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time,(A) Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. 8 But God proves(B) his own love for us(C) in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 How much more then, since we have now been justified by his blood,(D) will we be saved through him from wrath.(E) 10 For if, while we were enemies,(F) we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.(G) 11 And not only that, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.(H)

The Believer’s Triumph
31 What, then, are we to say about these things?(A) If God is for us, who is against us?(B) 32 He did not even spare his own Son(C) but gave him up for us all.(D) How will he not also with him grant us everything? 33 Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect?(E) God is the one who justifies.(F) 34 Who is the one who condemns?(G) Christ Jesus is the one who died,(H) but even more, has been raised;(I) he also is at the right hand of God(J) and intercedes for us.(K) 35 Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction(L) or distress or persecution(M) or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
Because of you
we are being put to death all day long;(N)
we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.[a](O)
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors(P) through him who loved us.(Q) 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,(R) nor angels nor rulers,(S) nor things present nor things to come,(T) nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God(U) that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(V)

Ephesians 2:12-22
Christian Standard Bible
12 At that time you were without Christ, excluded from the citizenship of Israel, and foreigners to the covenants of promise,(A) without hope(B) and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood(C) of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who made both groups one(D) and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In his flesh, 15 he made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that he might create(E) in himself one(F) new man from the two, resulting in peace. 16 He did this so that he might reconcile both to God in one body(G) through the cross by which he put the hostility to death.[a] 17 He came and proclaimed the good news(H) of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.(I) 18 For through him we both have access(J) in one Spirit to the Father.(K) 19 So, then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,(L) with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building, being put together,(M) grows into a holy temple in the Lord.(N) 22 In him you are also being built together(O) for God’s dwelling(P) in the Spirit.

19 For God was pleased to have
all his fullness(A) dwell in him,(B)
20 and through him to reconcile
everything to himself,
whether things on earth or things in heaven,
by making peace(C)
through his blood,(D) shed on the cross.[a](E)
21 Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds as expressed in your evil actions. 22 But now he has reconciled you by his physical body through his death,(F) to present you holy, faultless,(G) and blameless before him(H)— 23 if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith(I) and are not shifted away from the hope(J) of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has been proclaimed in all creation(K) under heaven,(L) and I, Paul,(M) have become a servant of it.
