Romans 8:35-39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
(A)“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 (B)Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor (C)principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

35 では、いったいだれが、私たちをキリストの愛から引き離すことができるのでしょうか。災難や苦しみ、迫害ですか。飢えや貧乏、あるいは危険や剣ですか。 36 聖書にこう書いてあるとおりです。
「神のためには、いつでも
死ねる心がまえでいなければならない。
私たちは殺されるのを待つ羊のようだ。」（詩篇44・22）
37 しかし、こうした中にあっても私たちは、いのちを投げ出してまで私たちを愛してくださったキリストによって、圧倒的な罪からの勝利を得るのです。 38 神の愛から私たちを引き離すことができるものは何一つない、と確信しています。死もいのちも、そんなことはできません。天使にもできません。地獄の全勢力が結集しても、神の愛から私たちを遠ざけることはできません。恐れも、不安も同様です。 39 あるいは、私たちが空高くのぼっても、海の底深くもぐっても、どこにいようと、神の愛から私たちを引き離すことはできません。

36 Wie geschrieben steht: »Um deinetwillen werden wir getötet den ganzen Tag; wie Schlachtschafe sind wir geachtet!«[a]
37 Aber in dem allem überwinden wir weit durch den, der uns geliebt hat.
38 Denn ich bin gewiss, dass weder Tod noch Leben, weder Engel noch Fürstentümer noch Gewalten, weder Gegenwärtiges noch Zukünftiges,
39 weder Hohes noch Tiefes noch irgendein anderes Geschöpf uns zu scheiden vermag von der Liebe Gottes, die in Christus Jesus ist, unserem Herrn.
